Gardiner Lodging and Hotels


North Entrance Lodging and Road Status

All Yellowstone National Park entrances and park roads are now temporarily closed in preparation for the winter season, EXCEPT for the road between the North Entrance and Northeast Entrance (open year-round, weather permitting).

The North Entrance is OPEN! Visitors can enter through the historic Roosevelt Arch, then take Old Gardiner Road directly into Mammoth.

Conditions permitting, all other entrances and roads are projected to open to oversnow travel by snowmobile and snowcoach at 8:00 AM on December 15.

The Jim Bridger Explorer Cabins are now OPEN! The Rusty Rail Lounge is also open Thursday-Monday, 11 AM to 10 PM (food service available 11 AM - 9 PM).

The Ridgeline Hotel® at Yellowstone is currently closed, and will be re-opening December 15. However, please be advised that the Indoor Pool and Hot Tub will not be in service effective immediately and through April, 2023.
