North Entrance Lodging and Road Status

The North Entrance is open, and visitors can enter through the historic Roosevelt Arch, then take Old Gardiner Road directly into Mammoth.

The Ridgeline Hotel® at Yellowstone and The Jim Bridger Explorer Cabins are OPEN! The Indoor Pool and Hot Tub are also back in service.

The Yellowstone Mine Restaurant and Rusty Rail Lounge are also open. Food service is available 4 PM - 9 PM daily.

The Jim Bridger Explorer Cabins combine the charm of cabin lodging (we call it CABINEERING™) with the joys of generational travel. The Explorer Cabins at Bridger are perfect for family and friends traveling together, romantic getaways, multi-generational gatherings, and solo-travelers who want a little space to move around.

Each private cabin boasts a beautiful, raised balcony, stylish décor, fine linens, a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette for cooking up your favorite meals. WiFi is available in the cabins and throughout the property. When you arrive, you'll get a genuine Yellowstone welcome in the form of a complimentary S'mores kit to enjoy by our community fire pit on a beautiful Montana evening.

Housekeeping is provided for stays of 4 nights or longer. In order not to cause you any undue interruptions, housekeeping is generally not provided during stays of 3 nights or less, but if you need anything during your stay, of course please reach out and let us know.

The Jim Bridger Explorer Cabins are just minutes from the Park's North Entrance and a short drive from Mammoth Hot Springs and Lamar Valley, known for some of the best wildlife viewing in all the park. Please note, the Jim Bridger Explorer Cabins are not pet-friendly. However, there are pet-friendly rooms available at the Ridgeline Hotel® at Yellowstone, located next to the Cabins.

Please Note: We do not have any fully accessible rooms on property, but we do have cabins with some accessible features. If you require an accessible room, please let the staff know when making your reservations at the Jim Bridger Explorer Cabins.

  • Parking: Accessible parking spaces and signage (car and van) provided.
  • Lobby/Entrance: The lobby entrance door is accessible, with an accessible route that allows for approaching and entering the hotel.
  • Restaurant: The eating area has self-service shelves and dispensing devices within reach range, as well as accessible tables.
